I am unable to add tags to my latest post. I click on "add tags", and I am redirected to the Front Page. Safari, OSX.

bizarre. I tries to add tags to many of my older posts, with the same result: redirected.
I am curious, since it seems to affect just me (today posts by other users have tags, as usual). maybe my MeFi account is expiring, or something.

I just added a tag on an old askmefi post of mine, so that works. but I cannot tag my mefi posts anymore

Really? Same browser? The javascript and submission scripts are identical, last I checked. I added some new javascript to the Add tag link that might screw up in Safari.

I'll look into it and see what's up

OK, I downloaded and installed Firefox 1.5 on this Mac, and it worked: I added the tags.

in Safari the tags are still not working, it redirects on the front page

Javascript support in Safari is quite flaky in places. I've lost count of the number of times I've had to work around it.
