What's the current ettiquette here on Mefi regarding googlebombing? I
googlebombed in a MeTa here earlier today, and the thread has since been deleted. I guess I'm wondering if the deletion was because I acted out of line, or for another more reasonable cause.

I deleted the thread because personally calling out single users for being disruptive just eggs them on more, and builds up their presence on the site, which is exactly the opposite goal of the person posting it and people agreeing. That kind of stuff just feeds the cult of personalities around here.
