Where did the taglines go?

"Self-policing since 1999" up on the top left; gone the way of the dodo. Policy change or logo oversight?

ooo. that one always bugged me. it's a very "glass half full" take on something that could equally well be described as "mob rule and groupthink since 1999". imho.

I think that when the headers changed, all of the tagline-randomness went away, too. It may or may not be on Mathowie's infinite list of things to do.

I was too lazy to make 12 different versions of the logo, knowing that everyone would argue over which tag lines do show up and how I should make some elaborate system where taglines could be automatically picked up from comments.

No, no. What you really need is an elaborate system to allow users to specify what tagline will appear for another user as a kind of super sekrit messaging...
