Is there a way to get RSS of a user's comments? May 29, 2006 4:36 PM   Subscribe

Is there a way to get an RSS feed of http://ask.metafilter.com/search_comments.mefi?user_ID=NNNNN ?

If not, could that happen at some point? Some users tend to give really interesting answers no matter what question is being asked, and it'd be nice to be able to be notified when they jump in.

Isn't that option already on each user page?

I think that only applies to FPPs, AskMe questions and MeTa posts, not comments, dobbs.

Yeah, current feeds are for posts only, not comments.

I'm not sure if such a thing would take too many server resources, but it sounds like an interesting idea.

Damn, I thought the mighty MetaRSS might work for this, but it doesn't - you just get a feed with one item containing all the comments on the page.

I seem to remember Matt saying comment-feeds would be A Bad Thing™. The rationale being that it would simply facilitate nemesis-stalking. It's too bad we can't have nice things.
