I was just being impressed by this also. Particularly given the first diagram is still how I park most of the time *hangs head*.

One should also take left turns in much the same manner: go straight out, then turn, fairly sharply, at about the time your front end has hit the center line.

It eliminates "squeezing" the meridian and, more importantly, those who are in the cross-way left turn lane.

The diagram is functional, but I'm more impressed by his use of colour. There's the signs of a budding impressionist in there.

I agree with the swinging wide turn when you're parking. However, please don't use the 'wide swing' technique when turning off of a busy road. Doing so will make you a stupid-fuckhead-driver.

I disagree. Driving a hot-pink car causes others to stare and lose control of their own vehicles. Very unsafe.

Nope! I don't do a swing-out before turning; I'm just entering the intersection further and then making a very sharp turn.
