Dinner at Super88 in Allston, say around 6:30-7pm.
Pool/Beer at Big City afterwards.
Help us welcome wimpdork to this coast! Even if only temporarily.

Oh, and please confirm. I can play pool for free at my job, so we'll go there instead if no one's going to show up.

Interested, but the ladyfriend has a parent in town for the night. Will attempt to stop by Big City later in the night.

I want to come but I'm all met-up from last weekend.

Oh man, I'm not working late Friday. I can actually show up!

I work until 6, and I'm in Prov, so I'll be at whatever location around 730. I especially would love to meet wimpdork!

I don't know if Kattullus will join me or not, he might be all meta-ed-out from the Smallest MeetUp EVOR last weekend.

I'm just a sock puppet and so will not attend, obviously.

I'm in the same boat snickerdoodle is.

Also, any reason for Super88 rather than Sunset? Shorter walk, since it's supposed to be -4 degrees or something.

"Also, any reason for Super88 rather than Sunset?"

Yes, it's called I live out in Northborough and so actually have no clue where anything in Boston is. Also, if I recall from last time, the Super88 has parking. Can you give me info on Sunset?

Add me to the list of wishy-washy folks. Big City was fun, and every time I get off at Packard's Corner I think "man, I should go to the Super 88 for dinner" and I never do. But my schedule for this weekend is a little wonky.

Hmm, yeah, parking might be trouble at Sunset, I don't think they have their own lot. I've actually never been to Super88, and was under the impression it was a grocery store, so I'm probably not the proper authority on such things.

I'm in rehearsals-- sorry I'm gonna miss it(again)!

FYI - I'll be in the Boston area on 2/4 through 2/9. If you throw something together then I'd love to come.

Mayor West: "I've actually never been to Super88, and was under the impression it was a grocery store, so I'm probably not the proper authority on such things."

Super 88 is a grocery store (possibly one of the eight best grocery stores on the planet, although that's beside the point), but the Allston one comes with an attached multi-ethnic (either primarily or exclusively asian) food court.

What's the status of this? I might be in.

grapefruitmoon is coming, so yeah, it's on. See you there!

I'm definitely in. I couldn't make it to the last one because I was in Seattle for a conference (sorry mds35), but I'm back and eager for my first ever meetup. Beer, pool, and Asian food are all among my favorite things. How do we find one another? Do I wear a blue shirt with yellow stitching, or a carnation in my buttonhole, or what?

Oh, and thanks for picking the coldest day of the year, Eideteker. :)

Shit guys, stuff happened! My presence is demanded here in Provytown. Grar!

We could, uh, meet in Providence. At uh, my house. But um, that would be weird.

I guess Horace Rumpole will have to take my place this time.

I hope everything's ok, gfm. I'll miss you! But yay, we will have me, wimpdork, and Horace Rumpole. And possibly a bunch of wishy-washy so-and-sos.

Oh, everything's peachy. One of my husband's friends wanted to meet for dinner and then today one of my coworkers got all cow-eyed and asked "What are you doing tomorrow?" So. It APPEARS that what I am doing tomorrow is cooking dinner for the unlikeliest combination of people that I know.

It should be a blast, but it will, sadly keep me out of Boston for the evening.

It's too bad I neither have a clone or the ability to teleport.

Waaah, I am out, too. Hubby needs some TLC tonight.

We're @ the Super88 now! Who will give us TLC?
posted by Eideteker at 3:35 PM on January 26, 2007

Sending you TLC, via telepathy, at this very moment, from a nice warm home.
