Chicago area meetup(ish) events this week? [more inside]

There are two things I’m doing this week that MeFites might be interested in.

The first is more likely: TechCocktail 3 Thursday 6:30p to 9p at Amira in the NBD Tower.

Second is a live performance by Chicago area singer/songwriter Martha Berner. Lilly’s bar at 2513 N. Lincoln Ave @9pm on Friday.

Anyone interested in either?

Thanks for turning me on to Martha. I just bought one of her CD's on the site you linked to. "Good Company", track #3 on the "This Side of Yesterday" cd, is fantastic. I am interested in the meetup, but I have to work Saturday morning and I'm an hour outside of the city. But maybe...

oh, dudiggy, that's so cool. You'll have to tell me what you think of the rest of it. My favorite track is "A Town Called Happiness".

Curses! I am in San Diego this week. Otherwise I would be all over the meetup, particularly after learning that I can meet my mate at a meetup. ;)

I'm going to the Double Door this Friday for Odium Nation. Not quite as mellow as Martha, but they rock my world anyway.
