Removing Favorites At Point Of Origin = YAY! March 16, 2007 10:03 AM   Subscribe

I've noticed it's now possible to remove favorites directly at the post/comment. Very cool! Thanks mathowie!

If there was going to be some grand "Tada!" thread, I apologize for ruining it. But yay! So cool.

Ultimately The PinkSuperhero is going to find a way to use this for evil, like removing all MY favorites.

TPS: I bet the Big Reveal's going to be the comments2 page that's floating around.

It wasn't mathowie, it was cortex. He's gone mad! Mad, I tell you!

It wasn't mathowie, it was cortex. He's gone mad! Mad, I tell you!

He staggers drunkenly these many nights of late, nude but for a tophat, swinging the Banhammer at any passersby, humming catchy little tunes about posting and deleting. This town will never be the same.

French Fry, are you ghostwriting for Neil Gaiman? American Gods II?

"these many nights of late"? As opposed to the days of old, when nights were few?

As opposed to the days of old, when nights were few?

This made me laugh so hard I had to come up with a ridiculous excuse as to what was so funny with my paperwork.

You see I’m a poor speller/writer/typist so “many nights of late” was not Really what I was going for.

At last, the favouriting* system is as fickle as those who use it!

* Coincidentally, Firefox's spell-check suggests "songwriting" and "unfavorings" as corrections for "favouriting".

This was announced as an aside in some random meta thread, as is the custom.

blue_beetle - you know you can add your own spellings or switch your language right? I think there is a UK dictionary.

PS: How do I do small text?
posted by jesirose at 12:05 PM on March 16, 2007

With a careful, slow hand, jesirose.

And a pair of these: <small>blah blah blah</small>
posted by cortex (staff) at 12:15 PM on March 16, 2007

Jesi, you do < small> and the text you want small, without the extra space between the first carot (?) and the small.
Hey I helped someone with HTML, GO ME!!

I wouldn't say "too slow"; I think this fancy feature deserves a post all to itself.

Is it sad that I actually know html? I knew small was an html tag, I just didn't make the association, guess it was a brain fart.
