St. Paul Mn

I know this is a long shot as we are in the land of introverts and it is very last second but: I'm in downtown St. Paul tonight and tomorrow night for a conference, anyone up for something I can walk to from the riverside (knda near the science museum area) after 4:30pm tomorrow (er, today I guess, Thurs)?

Two Finns get up long before sunrise to go out and work. As they step outside, the first one says, "Cold day." The sun comes up, they work all day in the forest chopping wood; by sundown, nearly exhausted, they make the long walk back home. They're pouring hot cups of black coffee when the second one says, "Cold, ya."

I probably can't come tonight unless it's a late-ish night thing. 9:30 or so or later. Afternoon works too. I might be up for it tomorrow. Free all day. Also, I wouldn't rule out downtown Minneapolis. The 16 (also the 50) bus line runs right between the two. Very simple. This also provides good access to the U of M area, and plenty of places along university. I don't know st. paul so well, so whatever people decide on, I'll try to make it. But if anyone's up for Minneapolis, I always enjoy Kieran's Irish pub. If anyone wants to meet at 10 tonight, I will definitely make it there.

Ah. And by tonight I mean thursday. I see edgeways will be gone by friday. Still, if anyone wants to meet tomorrow, I'd try to make it. I won't be the first to propose anything for then though, cause I'm not sure I can make it.

Yeah, I always knew it as how to recognize an extroverted engineer. Do we have a lot of Finns around MN? I guess I've only noticed the swedes and norwegian folk.

Unfortunately I won't be able to make it out tonight or tomorrow, but I hope you guys manage to get something together. MN needs more meet ups.

k, looks like it'll probablly be best not to worry about tonight, I'll try and give more warning next time, hopefully ya scunners can come up with something to amuse yourselves later in the weekend/Friday
