You remember that thing about London meetups happening far too frequently? Well, it's happening again. Short-notice meetup, tonight (Thursday 28th), Cittie of Yorke, 7pm onwards.

The big Saturday thing is only two days away, I know, but:

(a) not everyone can make this weekend; and
(b) I need a drink tonight.

And once again, the MeFi sign will fail to make an appearance, because I haven't brought it to work with me. I might pop along, though, if I manage not to fall asleep on the Central Line and wake up in Loughton.

Can't make tonight.
But can I just say how much I approve of the fact that London Meetup's have evolved from "Meetups" to "I am going for a drink".

This is the way forward.

Uh, I'd have gone if I had time today to look at MeFi because I did also need a drink after work. That said, it was probably for the best for my poor, poor liver.

Despite the fact that only three of us made it, and there are no pictures (thank Christ for that at least) this was an amazing meet-up. Dancing to Spanish music for two hours at Costa Dorada in Hanway Street near Tottenham Court Road (that's just so I don't forget that address BTW) was unexpected. As was the fact that we got so shit-faced beforehand we FORGOT TO EAT!

Spanish places on Hanway street have featured heavily in MeFi meetups before, because they're great. Pretty_Generic still owes me an octopus.

well see, Octopus & Spanish places are not mutually exclusive. Hmm Pulpo a la Gallega, I'm still seriously pissed off I forgot to eat in a Spanish place. Hell I learned to cook in Spain.
Can we have the next London meet-up there (oh Sorry, a meeting of CMs drinking buddies) so we can eat before we start drinking?
