Well if you sent Adam Savage a judge, I sure hope it was Antonin Scalia. I'd like to see his idea that he has some singular, god-given insight into the intentions of the original framers of the Constitution busted, that's for damn sure.

Umm. I still haven't done it. The only things I've signed lately have been fan mail, and that seems to go against... you know? I was waiting for an actual person to ask. But since I'm just in the shop all day, and only the odd german shows up from time to time to take pictures of the building (or mefite)...

Tell you what- I'm in davis this weekend doing a speaking engagement, I'll sign something backwards. Any mefites going to the davis show?

Agreed. I watched the first liftoff and waited for the camera to track its trajectory and ... nothing. Just street-level shots. I was so disappointed. The heater carcass dropped back into the shot like 30 seconds later.

Little did I know they were saving the money-shot for the huge frickin' house-shattering detonation. I actually would've liked an even wider shot of that. Maybe I'll actually check out the online videos they're always pimping for once.
