I've been pulling my hair out since I saw that one. The thread seems to have kinda stabilized, and I think this is one of those cases where if we decided to can daq's initial comment we'd have to can so damned much of the thread in response that leaving it to stand along with the responses makes a lot more sense.

So a few years ago it was two days before Christmas but it was also our turn for the soup kitchen, and I hadn't done my shopping and had to work and it was going to be a hassle, but fuck it we all go down to make the soup and the sandwiches. Four or so hours later I was working the door because Im sort of a big guy and the old ladies from the SRO can get pushy. This one guy is sitting on the stoop across the street eating his lunch and he starts just laying into me. "You think your going to go to heaven but your not. Fucking burnt soup, raw eggs..." and of course spiritual giant that I am I start yelling back at him. "Listen buddy, I'm out here two days before Christmas trying to feed you..."
