Number of comments in AskMe RSS feed?

Pony request for AskMe RSS feed: Number of comments and/or indication that the original poster has marked a best answer. Possible?

Isn't it kind of weird to change old entries in an RSS feed?

Wordpress does this. Also, if you use a reader such as NetNewsWire, the reader will show you what has changed by highlighting it. Happens more than you might think.

I vaguely remember the idea was floated of doing this on metafilter, and having an image in the rss feed for an entry that's dynamically updated with the comment count. Whatever happened to that?

You could probably do this quite easily with Yahoo Pipes. If I'm bored I might do it for you.
