Music.Metafilter access problems

Getting "403 Forbidden" errors for some music.metafilter tracks.

The page loads fine, but the mp3 is returning a 403.

Just checked status., and realized that you guys are wrangling some server issues, so that may have something to do with it. Either way, thought you might want to know.

Speaking of server issues, I notice that you've switched back to the new one.

It seems faster than the last time, but it's still crawling pretty badly. Last time page loads were 45-60 seconds. Now they're in the range of 30 seconds.

yeah, this is a symptom of the server move. It should be working now, thanks for letting us know.

I think the slow server stuff could be DNS-related, but yeah, we're on the new box now.

20-40 second page load times. DNS resolves virtually instantly - content is taking "forever".

Ok, we just tweaked apache to kill keep-alives, so no more giant queue at the front door of 20-30 seconds.

This new server is great!

It will be interesting to see which drunk bastard will be the first to spill red wine on the carpet, vomit all over the upholstery, and punch a hole in the wall with his head as he collapses unconscious into it.
