The cartoon Story of Cat Rackham's quest for coffee now has a conclusion of sorts

(spoiler alert)

It involves a crazy lumpy old lady and an exploding water heater but what good story doesn't?

That is not the ending I was expecting.

Oh yeah, heh. The eight chapter of Moby Dick? Where Ishmael is on the Pequod and encounters the lumpy old lady with the exploding water heater? My favorite part.

I liked this comic, and missed it the first time on the Blue. Thanks... and Jeremy the Squirrel made my day.

^longsleeves: "but what good story doesn't?"

I'm straining my brain to think of one, but am coming up empty. I'm sure I've read a good story recently that doesn't involve lumpy old ladies and exploding water heaters. Maybe this is a good question for AskMe.

That lumpy old lady looks like she's made out of taxidermy skin.

Woah, that took a pretty dark Silence of the Lambs turn for a cartoon with a talking squirrel.

I got to the needle part and I thought to myself, 'is that lady going to sew the cat up in a bag? Why the need to sterilize it? Unless she is going to sew FLESH."

Oh but I did not anticipate what flesh would be sewn where.

I love this more than can be described in words. I want to sew it pages of it on my body. Thank you.

Funny because there was an AskMe about where to find a cat-swimsuit last week. Now the thought of a cat bikini will remind me of something else. Something far, far more disturbing.

Heh this is cool with a cat and some slightly surreal stuff and that old lady seems a bit creepy an- WHAT THE FUCK

Cat Rackham was just a little bit awesome and exactly what I needed today.

It puts the felines on its skin. Or else it gets the boiler hose again.

I'm happy that the fat white cat ended up getting away.

I was sad to see the fat white cat cry. And I'm sad that the fat white cat broke Cat Rackham's coffee. Wow, Cat Rackham is amazingly depressing.

Here is Cat Rackham's latest strip.

And the fat white cat is named Boots.
