Is the "http://metafilter.com/username.mefi/username" URL format broken?
I've been using this URL format as a way to quickly find the profiles of users mentioned in threads when there wasn't a link provided for years now, but when I tried it a moment ago I was redirected to my own profile. Has this functionality been broken for a while, or did something change recently?

Yep, confirmed it's broken and looking into it.

I tried it with my username and I was surprised when it worked. Then I realized that proved nothing.
