cat scanner shirts May 16, 2010 5:24 PM   Subscribe

Cat Scan Shirts are one of the strangest shirts I've seen in some time. I have no idea how these people got their cats wedged into their scanners, or why. TODAY 5/16 ONLY.

TeeFury sells a super limited-edition shirt each day, being sold for only 24 hours or until sold out, which ever happens first. After 24 hours the t-shirt is removed from teefury.com, never to be made available for sale again (at least through teefury.com - artists retain full rights to their artwork and may choose to make the piece available at a future date).

- I don't work there. PS sorry there's only a few hours left. :(

Looks like this was intended for the front page?

Thanks! I am in need of t-shirts since many of mine are becoming frayed, holey, and faded.

Does anyone wear the shirts down here?

Copy Cat is pretty good, but I want one with the Radioactive Rave or the Animals on Motorcycles.

Oh god, if I wasn't broke right now (I'd have one of those T-shirts).

Even without the injoke, I would find this shirt very funny.

Oh man. T-shirts are my weakness, and it is a cute shirt. Plus, it would count as a MeFi in-joke t-shirt. That's at least a $30 value.

But I have no summer job yet, and am low on funds, and have under 2 hours to earn enough to buy it. I find myself regretting every purchase I have ever made.

Anyone have anything they'd be willing to paypal me for?

Can I afford it? Nope.
Do I need one? Nope.
Did I buy one? You betcha.

I like that when you buy one, they tell you "You're Awesome".

JavaScript must be enabled in order for you to use TeeFury.

Say what? Really?

...and, once more, The Boy and I have matching t-shirts. We're moving and trying to divest ourselves of stuff, but the power of in-joke...too strong.

Thanks for this!

What did it look like? I assume it's not the worn-out cliché shirt they have on the page now.

If you check out the Tee Fury Facebook page you can see the design, cmonkey.

I emailed the link to this to the mods last night; I wasn't sure if it was kosher for a metatalk post (guess it is).

Yeah, it took a while to find it since all the other online archives were very much out of date, but here's the cat scanner shirt.

Damn, that's a pretty great shirt.

This was especially annoying because the page actually flashes up briefly, before you get redirected to the "no JS" page.

Hey, that's my favorite r&b standard too!
