OK, assuming I'm not being banned by the Management, I can no longer use Mefi in Opera or IE 5.0. When logged in, all I see is a sea of blue or a sea of brown (Metatalk), on what appears to be a huge Web page. as I scroll down, single words appear very VERY far apart. Is this a cruel joke?

actually, what happened is that I had tried to change the font size in Customize. But when I typed "11" in the field, IE 5.0 autocompleted it so that the font size was my Zip Code: 11215(point)!

Any chance of making a maximum font size?

I'll be over here clutching my sides cackling if anybody needs me.
I knew that auto-complete thing was the work of the devil.

I guess I could set a max of 30-50 for those fields yeah. Can you tab through the customize page to get to that field again?

Matt, if that question is directed towards me, I deleted the cookies in IE after resetting Customize in Mozilla (which never allowed the mega font size)(but if it had, I'd be in trouble)

Auto-complete was designed specifically to trick Manhattanites into buying 10021 of anything they wanted to purchase online.

and 212 of anything they wanted a pair of

my god I love this 'small' tag

Honestly, I was sure a Saudi hacker had corrupted my cookie.

Paris, I hate for you to learn this way, but we all got together and voted you off the island. It's nothing personal.

That's the second time someone's called this background color brown - it looks very gray on my machine. The contrast of the babypoo green links against the color does make it look sort of brown, though. Or is that babypoo yellow...

I know it's supposed to be gray, but, here and on other sites that use/have used this color, my brain thinks it's brown.

I find it goes brown when I crank my monitor output level down to "haven't slept since sunday."

Iconomy: don't jeer just yet, newbie. It should be burnt sienna for links and names and bright, canary yellow for "logout", the "preview" background colour and the other important signs. Not green. So go to the back of the queue, you babypoo, you! ;)

I thought everyone realized that the blue/gray color combination was mathowie's tribute to the defining moment of our nation's history, the Civil War. Brown, sheesh.

It's brown-grey. Or "bray"

It's gray, dangit. #666666, (102,102,102), 40% value, 0 saturation gray. It is the paradigm of gray, the gray de la gray, grrraaaaaaaay.

666 * 2? Isn't that diabolic?

Actually, 666 *1001. Isn't that pedantic?

(PS: grey.)
