Haven't we all had enough?
Blazecock related iPad overflow
Blazecock Pileon's relentless browbeating of anyone who is not a cheerleader for Apple and general bad behaviour whenever Microsoft is mentioned in the iPad thread and others is becoming increasingly tiresome. [more inside]

Best of the web... whose web? [more inside]
SearchFu: guy flies into a pool.
There was a recent post of a video where a guy slides down the side of a hill, launches off a ramp & lands in a pool. I'm usually pretty good at this but my search-fu is failing me & I can't find it. Help?
Microsoft, LOL, OMG
This is so not even close to best of the web it's embarrassing. Microsoft, LOL, we get it.
Sounds snarky to me

'I am not a Microsoft "fanboy"'...
Does this post about how wonderful new web technologies from Microsoft are, and how easy and quick it is to develop for them, set off anyone's alarm bells? [more inside]

Microsoft Live Labs director in MeFi
Kinda cool; lilbrudder (who is me, in case anyone cares/didn't know - I'm reserving the "jonson" ID strictly for double posts these days) posts about a new technology from Live Labs, the prototyping skunkworks division of Microsoft, and in the middle of the discussion, the director of the lab chimes in - turns out he's been a mefite for years.
Browser problems
OK, assuming I'm not being banned by the Management, I can no longer use Mefi in Opera or IE 5.0. When logged in, all I see is a sea of blue or a sea of brown (Metatalk), on what appears to be a huge Web page. as I scroll down, single words appear very VERY far apart. Is this a cruel joke?
Bashers
What's worse, an irrational Microsoft basher or an irrational Apple doubter?

This is a continuation of the tangents raised while discussing e-mail clients. Up for discussion:
* whether there is any "naturally occuring phenomenon" in cyberspace
* whether Microsoft understand the environment they are in
* whether Outlook is a secure product or not.

Since when did Microsoft start using textads at the top of the MSN Portal?
Since when did Microsoft start using textads at the top of the MSN Portal? Granted, I don't visit MSN much, but weren't there banner ads up there in the not too distant past? Did they take a hint from MetaFilter and PyrAds?
