I had no idea that the blogs-that-aren't-Jezebel question got so many favorites. That warms my heart.

I'm a little surprised my Calvin & Hobbes post didn't get a mention. *sniffle*

So, Cortex, how many man-hours are we talking about? Minecraft-wise?

At least their obvious oversight gave you an opportunity to self-promote.

I'm super excited to have a post mentioned in the podcast. This is icing on the cake that is today.

I can't believe my sizable bribe wasn't enough to get me a mention, even if the mention was just 'What the fuck is up with shakespeherian giving us each $7.53?'

cortex talks weird.

The actual working gallery is here on our MFC group blog; I'll be porting it over to the aporkalypse site and integrating it soonish.

I had the Calvin and Hobbes post in my pile, but I felt like we were running long on that so I skipped it.

If Jessamyn will record and post a video of her reading the "Give me some goofy nicknames for my friend" thread, I will donate 20 bucks to the charity of her choice.

What's with the "mumble, mumble, mumble." about Jabber chat? Is it technical or supportability issues?

Funnily enough, nalacarus set EVERYTHING on fire.

This is probably something that we could split up the work on. And with a little video editing, BAM!

Every video you guys make is required to have a shot of cortex doing a drumroll.

I am game. If by "split the work on" you mean that I will somehow wind up doing less work than if I did this myself. If you promise that we can be done a week from today, I will do it. I'd love an excellent soundtrack.

What's Minecraft?

You know how there's the real world, which is big? And then there are computer game worlds inside the real world, which are small?

Minecraft is the opposite of that.

I'm starting to believe Minecraft is on the outside, not the inside, too.

I'm thinking we split the thread in half; you read your half into your videocamera of choice, I read my half, you send me your video and I splice the two together, back and forth, in what will hopefully be a compelling and amusing fashion.

I'm starting to believe Minecraft is on the outside, not the inside, too.

Welcome, Brother, to the First Minecraft Church of the Seventh Face.

I kept thinking Matt was referring to the "Elmo Draft House," and it wasn't quite clear to me why a Sesame Street-themed bar would want to screen a movie about terrorists...

Eventually I worked it out.

jessamyn, I only say this because you have expressed in the past that you are particular about pronunciation, Al-Qaeda is pronounced As if the Qae rhymes with "tie" not "kay." Should you have decided that Al Qaeda is not deserving of correct pronunciation, I have absolutely no problem with that.

Worth knowing! This is one of those words I read much more frequently than hearing out loud, so appreciate the tip.
