What are the all-time longest and shortest post titles? Broken down by subsite, if possible.
MetaFilter has a maximum length of 200 characters for the title. There are 9 right at 200 characters:

One post had HTML that isn't displayed on the page. It was added before we started filtering for HTML more carefully. I threw it out because the extra characters aren't shown on the page anyway and we should probably fix it up.

Since Ask and MetaTalk threads can be extremely personal and/or contentious, I'll leave those as an exercise for infodumpsterists. I'm not sure that the extra traffic and potential rehash here from merely having long titles is fair to those posters.

infodumpster-divers
Pfft. infodumpster-divers today have no idea how good they've got it. Back in my day, we didn't have all this high technology to protect us, and we had to swim the infodumpster with just a lungful of air and knife on our belt.
And let's not even talk about the data-sharks, lurking out there in the dark... waiting.

What about the shortest? This would be close, no?
Of course, with the minimum being 1 and the maximum 200, it's not really much of a contest.
