Billy Hunt, the maker of the Screamotron3000 shows up in the thread to speak briefly on his creation and post a photo of it.

I was amused to see that the photo wasn't of an old-school 70s-80s era boombox, but was in fact one of the new "insert your iPod instead of a cassette tape" sorts.

Welcome, Billy! I hope you'll participate in MetaFilter beyond just that one thread. It's a great place with a lot of thoughtful people.
