We placed these blocks together.

Multiplayer online block-based player-edited flash game, posted to Metafilter years ago. I can't find it.

I feel sure that it was posted to Metafilter, anyway, since I remember that it was one of those situations where someone made a "mefi" room in order to build together away from the madding crowd. This was long before I made this account. Things I remember:

• Players could build rooms by placing blocks/tiles in a grid. I think that there were some blocks that had physical properties, like springs and ramps? and some of them were just different colors of blocks?
• I feel pretty sure that the players were the same size and shape as the blocks.

I know that's not a whole lot to go on, but I was hoping maybe somebody still remembers this thing. Since it depended on a server, I guess there's a good chance it's gone now, but I'd like to see it again if I can.

Sounds a little like Minecraft. There's a Minecraft server, Aporkalypse, run by the MeFight Club.

I remember this game. It absolutely wasn't minecraft but I can't remember what it was and I can't find it in my favourites. I do remember my little player thingy flying around the room like crazy and it was quite a lot of fun.

I don't really remember the game looking like that link from Rhaomi (which doesn't' mean much, my visual memory is terrible) but I totally remember the thread about it. So yeah, this is definitely the one I was thinking of at least.

Everybody Edits is probably it! Guess I should have mentioned that it was 2D.

I guess you need to log in to play? I'll check and see if it's what I remember.
