I believe I proposed at one point that we have pb put together some sort of flash application that we could all virtually stick punch cards into, complete with ka-thunk noises and a clock and so on. Somehow that didn't get traction.

I kind of like the sound of "Mister Cortex". Dunno why. I think that's what we should call him all the time from now on. It makes him sound like a supervillain or a robotic butler. Or, hey, maybe a supervillain robotic butler!

I kind of like the sound of "Mister Cortex".
I like how it sounds too, and have (cautiously) used it previously without complaint. Am aware that, in the wrong context or thread, it could come over badly e.g. be seen as sarcasm(?) even when it is not meant to be. Was brought up to call people Mr or Ma'am or some other adult identifier(?), and not informally, and it's kinda stuck.
Referred to a different mod in this manner previously and it quickly went very badly wrong, so it's just The Cortex on here whom feel comfortable referring to as Mr Cortex.
Though, in the aristocracy picture, perhaps Earl Cortex Moderator-Bagginshaw of MetaFilterShire feels like a more appropriate name...
