Man, babies are so awesome. Especially once they're not quite just little blobs of Feed Me, like past 2 months or so, when the lightbulbs start turning on. I'm too old & tired to keep up with babies any more, but I sure miss having one around. Here's hoping the maturation process goes according to schedule!

We got a baby announcement card from a friend a few days ago with those stats on it. When discussing it with my husband, a physicist, it turned out he seriously thought people always mentioned weight, time of birth, and length because mass, time and length are the fundamental dimensions in mechanics.*
I guess he thought parents were helpfully providing the essential information for physicists to do calculations involving their baby...

The three of us are doing well, if tired. Babby is adorable and has all the basic newborn functions: yelling, eating, pooping, sleeping. I suspect he's got to level up a little bit before he learns any advanced spells.
The cats remain blissfully unaware. For now.
