Trying to find an old post about a fake commercial July 11, 2016 6:50 PM   Subscribe

I'm trying to find an old post that appeared on MetaFilter some time back. It was a YouTube link to some kind of fake commercial, though I don't remember at all what it claimed to be selling, just that there was a woman doing the whole testimonial and it went slowly off the rails. Does anyone else remember this?

The two bits I remember: "When I heard [the such and such] ... I just fucking lost it," and "and then I kept driving and I was going 'turn around,' and I couldn't."

Thanks for the help.

Unedited footage of a live bear? (With an ad for Claridryl.)

Heh, yeah, that's pretty much the well-adjusted person's response. To answer the question, though, it's by Alan Resnik.

... says 80 Cats in a Dog Suit.

Anyway, the first video (Mom Commercial) was posted here, and the second (live bear) was posted here. I am personally much happier with Happy Orange than with Claridrool.

Dammit, now you've got that tune stuck in my head again. It took me two years to get rid of it!

I was due for a rewatch of Claridryl and I missed Happy Orange the first time around. I really like this kind of thing and I need to seek out more of it.

Don't worry, there's Claridryl for that. Or some other drug, if that one conflicts with the current pharmaceutical cocktail you're consuming to find balance and well-being. Personally, I'm finding Dyziplen a great normalizer for my hyperactivity, ADHD, and Kanye West Spectrum Disorder.

If the bear hurt your brain, you might want to avoid This House Has People in It.

Live at the Necropolis: Lords of Synth is perfectly safe, though, and absolutely fantastic.

It's indeed pretty infectious. Just look at the YouTube page.

I'm still disturbed. Every time I think about this video I need to go wash my hands. Well done, but damn.
