[MeFi Site Update] September 16th

Hello Metafilter! Apologies for the delay with this site update. I just got my second COVID-19 vaccine on Monday and I've been dealing with minor symptoms. We'll go back to regular Monday site updates next time. Please find more details on the state of the site below. Reminder: I will be the only mod monitoring this thread so please be patient as I reply to your feedback and questions. Technical changes:

- Frimble has fixed a stylesheet issue affecting tag display on the Classic theme

- There’s an API issue affecting the submission of books on FanFare currently, we’re working to resolve it

Feel free to add questions to this thread and I will do my best to address them as promptly as possible.

Suggestion that member comments from the fundraising update be collected and synthesized alongside mod responses in the next update.

Not a big enough deal for me to use the contact form, but is there a problem with the Projects subsite? It won't load for me at the moment.

Seems like it's loading okay for me, what OS/platform are you trying to load it from?

Chrome on Android. Weird. It still doesn't seem to be loading for me. Guess it is me and not the site then.

Regarding the Projects issue, have you tried clearing your browser's cache & cookies?

Also, added a note about member comments and mod responsed from the fundraising update to be synthesized in the next update.

I ultimately did nothing (laziness), and when I checked just now it works fine, so I'm not going to worry about it. :)
