Marking questions as answered February 29, 2004 2:10 PM   Subscribe

Another AskMe suggestion. How about a way for someone who has posted a question to go in and add a marker which says that their question has been answered which would then appear next to the 'comments' marker on the front page, which would then offer the ability to filter out all the questions which have been answered so that the benevolant can concentrate on those which haven't.

Sounds useful, possibly even having the marker be a link to the comment(s) that answered the question.

How about when the asker's question is answered, he or she posts a little message that says "thanks, [name of answerer], that was just the ticket."

We do still remember how to read, don't we?

Space Coyote: the idea is to have computers (or Matt) do as much of the work as possible, leaving the non-computerable and/or fun stuff to the humans (apart from Matt).

Matt is human? Well, you learn something new every day.
