Call of Duty server?

Lately I've become addicted to the multiplayer shooter Call Of Duty. Are there any others here in a similar predicament? Is there any interest in setting up a MetaFilter only server? Frankly I think settling tensions with a few team deathmatches might be healthy and productive. Anyone here have a COD server?

No, but I'd be willing to whup any MetaFilterite in Halo. It'd be so fun to launch a missile or two at a few choice pundits...

... purely for sport, of course...

CoD is great, but if you want to play Battlefield 1942, i'd be happy to dogfight you in the air anytime.

Playing transatlanticly probably isn't going to be that much fun, due to (reasonably) high latency. Don't know how much that matters for Call of Duty, but most people tend to stick with servers on their side of the pond.

I'd be partial to every metatalk with more than 10 posts being accompanied by a game of Unreal Tournament 2004 though, instead of long 100+ threads.

BF1942 is the shit. Was there any other game (besides simulators) that let you dogfight with WW2 planes?

I beta test for Activision, so I've been playing a lot of CoD lately -- you can find me online as [VIS]Twiin. I'd love to play with MeFi folk, though.
