I don't dislike Salon. I would certainly miss it, in fact. I don't even dislike Salon links, in moderation.

I thought that this type of story might have been posted to the main part of Mefi. Not that I have a clue, or anything, but if I wasn't such a Metatalk groupie, I would have missed it.

Anyway, thanks for the info.

Yeah, I thought about that, but then said, well, how droll. Lots of dotcoms are failing. Where's the story? I saw more of an angle with the fact that so many MeFi'ers hate Salon links ("because everyone reads them") and hence it became more of a MeFi thing---which made me put it here.

Plus I hate when I get an IM from Matt telling me that I've forgotten to take my anti-asshole medication....

Strangely enough, I can't say that I've ever visited Salon's home page. Always article references...
