Okay, the don't be an ass rule for Ask Me and supplying actual answers? Would these over here be keeping in that spirit? Just curious.
Yeah, I was just about to post about this. If this isn't ban-worthy...
I just don't know.

I don't know about banning, because everyone has a bad day that spills over or a sense of humor that can not mesh with someone else. But it would be nice if Matt pointed out that answers like that don't belong in AskMe.

He does, on every single thread in Ask:
"Please limit comments to answers or help in finding an answer. Wisecracks don't help people find answers. Thanks."
Unfortunately, quite a few people don't heed his wishes.

Still on a sabbatical.
I deleted the comments. xmutex is getting less funny and more stupid these days.
Boy needs to chill.

Hey, Matt, while you're in there would you consider nuking the hama7 comment in the protest sign question? It's pretty damned obnoxious, too.

Are we implying that shooting one's neighbor in the head and/or abdomen would not in fact preemptively solve any sort of conflict- and/or disagreement-related issues neatly and efficiently? I can understand one taking a philosophical or perhaps weirdly moral opposition to my point but to imply in some way that I might be engaging in sarcasm is perhaps going a bit overboard and rather, it must be said, disrespectful to my advice which I so wholeheartedly attempted to bestow upon our friends and comrades in AskMe.

Objects in the mirror may be less funny in real life.

I hate coming to metatalk threads too late to catch the snarky comments that got deleted. Can we please have a deletedstoopidcommentfilter so I can see the graffiti? Cause you can never have too many ponies.

FunkyHelix, it's also considered good form to ask an actual question in the AskMe Front Page Post.
