Open Source MetaFilter Code May 7, 2000 9:37 PM   Subscribe

Perhaps this isn't a "feature", but has there been any thought of open sourcing the metafilter, etc, code, similar to how Slashdot does it? Just curious.

I've been thinking about it for some time, and I'll probably do it soon, but keep in mind you need to have a Cold Fusion server or an account with an ISP runing CF Server.

Has anyone used sourceforge before for code projects? It's a web-based CVS system, and I'd probably go that route for releasing the code and keeping track of it.

Remember, there's a CF clone for Linux now.

Don't remember details, but I could find them if necessary...
