Boston Meetup?

Since I missed the last one, any interest in a short-notice MeFi Boston?

I managed to move to Seattle before the last MeFiBoston meetup happened. I'm going to be back in my wonderful hometown from May 22nd until May 27th. I'm hoping to get an impromptu gathering going. Maybe something laid back and on a weeknight?

I'm open to suggestion. I'm looking for interest at this point. If no one can make it I'll can the idea. If I get some interest I'll lock down on a place and time ASAP and we can just hope we don't sit around all day and talk about how much we want to make out with quonsar.

Ugh. Going to be busy all this coming weekend (folks coming over with new waterbed and 10K BTU A/C), so I won't be in.

Would love to, but I'm out of town all that time. I mean, I'm always out of town, because I don't live in Boston, but this time I'll be out of reach of Boston. :)

I'm in New Hampshire - let's meet at the beach! I know some very crowd-less beaches where we can fly kites and go swimming.

I'm not sure that I could make it up to NH on short notice, but if anyone wants - I could host it at my house just South of Worcester. I have a beautiful backyard that borders on miles of woods, and we could do some toxic barbecuing.

troutfishing, sounds like a great offer. i'm concerned about the lack of response, though. perhaps a larger meetup with more notice would be more appropriate for you house?

i'm all for hanging out with you and anathema, but it may make more sense to meet someplace more centralized if there's only three of us.

perhaps we should simply set a time, date, and place, and see if others happen to stop by?
