What makes a post inappropriate?

What's inappropriate?
Is there a guide for how racy a post can be? I posted a fairly racy (but funny, or at least I thought so) thing eariler and it was taken off. Did I step over the line?

To find deleted posts, check LoFi. There's always a reason for the deletion. And what amberglow said.

To be honest, racy is not generally the worst thing.

(Or maybe I should just go for a walk or something.)
