3. Suppose a press gang forces you onto the production crew of a 3-hour pornographic epic starring Whoopi Goldberg and Randy Quaid. What are your favorite MeFi user profile pages?
I've seen some cool ones but can't remember them. Right now COBRA!'s gets my nod because there 13 questions relating to the above mentioned 3-hour epic.

I can't quite figure out why I found that so funny. Maybe it's just the way he really committed to the joke?

That's pretty good. Sort of has that Roy Orbison in Cling Wrap vibe. I like Hands of Manos' profile. It's purty.

A few of my favorites: crunchland, jessamyn ('cuz I stole her stylesheet), and taz (another nice stylesheet).

Scratch that - Hands of Manos took down his cool image map thingy.

I've never really checked out crunchland's profile, monju. That "The Crunchland Method: How to Make a Better Front Page Post" is awesome.

Wow, I agree. The Crunchland Method would change my life if everyone else read it. Crunchland, we love you!

Eesh. If everyone adhered strictly to the Crunchland method I'd quit Metafilter in a trice. If I wanted that much anal I'd take out a subscription to "Back Door Beauties".

So now you know what to do...

Yeah, sure Decani. A new subscriber, you'd be?

From now on, I will no longer check the guidelines before posting, but turn to the Crunchland Method instead. Excellent.

Cobra!'s page is awsome. I wish I could say I didn't find it funny, but oh, oh I did.

I didn't know I was doing it, but I apparently adhere to the crunchland method.

Oh, and jonson's page is interesting.

One day when I was feeling bored and obsessive, I marked as many customized profiles as I could find.

I like lots of them.

A new subscriber, you'd be?

Look, I cancelled my previous subscription years ago, 'kay? Well, months, anyway. Well, last month, okay? Well... I thought about cancelling it last month. Well, I would have thought about cancelling it were it not for Miss August's awesome gluteal canteloupes.

Probably.

Thanks, frykitty, it was fun to check them out.

I guess I'm the only one who regularly wanks to fantasies of Whoopi riding Randy.

She has a nice rack, and he was funny in Caddyshack II. Give me a break.

Psst, frykitty, mine has color, too. Yea, it's not ultra exciting, but it's something.

so does Cranberry.

Damn, I was away from my computer yesterday and missed this. It was a tough day on the set; Whoopi's easy to work with, but Randy's a diva like you wouldn't believe. And somehow Matt Lauer hasn't gotten it into his head that we only let him on-set to work as a fluffer.

It's tough, but the three hours of raw sensuality on DVD (or direct download) will be more than worth it...

Cobra, I think I love you.

Yeah...those were some sweet cantaloupes.

Wait...what's this thread about again?

I'm glad some appreciate that thing on my user page. Use it or don't when you try to make your very first front page post, Decani.

COBRA!, that should be on McSweeney's if it isn't already.

Nice listing, frykitty. (And thanks for noticing mine, which is just a colour hack...maybe I should work on it).

I like quonsar's. I don't get quonsar's, but I think that if I insist that I like it, people will think I'm very intelligent.

frykitty, thanks, your comment was exactly what I was hoping for, that's a great list.

I don't envisage me ever making an FPP so it shouldn't be an issue.
