Don't copy the article, link to it November 19, 2005 9:03 PM Subscribe
When y2karl quotes 4000 words of an article, it's really annoying. Just link to it. Thanks.
Good etiquette usually calls for linking to the post or comment you're complaining about. /justsayin'

You know what else is annoying? When The Jesse Helms doesn't link to what he's talking about. That's annoying.

The page he linked to was even longer, so it was selective quoting.

The quote is neither italicized nor smallified, so I'm totally OK with it.

(And #27 is posting long quotes on the front page whereas this could maybe possibly be about comments.)

I aim to please the wonderchicken, first and foremost.

Indeed.
I can't please everybody all the time, and some people I can't please at any time but I try to please as many of the people as I can some of the time. Hence my eschewal of the small text.
Consider it a gracious adjustment to a frequent plea.

Can we please do something about mornings? The sun has been causing me to wake up and I'd rather have my early coming to awareness be in something a little dimmer. I know, I could hang curtains, but who has the time? Oh, and make the highway traffic stop too, that'd be great. Thanks.
