Jessamyn Spotting: “What are we gonna do, Mal?” pled Jessamyn, in a voice near hysterics.

The name Jessamyn is a variant of Jasmine. While it is indeed rare in the U.S., it is by no means unique to mefi's Jessamyn West.

Unique or not, you can't deny the appeal of the image of MeFi's Jessamyn taking up with a rag-tag crew of Kalashnikov-toting anti-Apple guerrilla fighters.

Did they add something to the water that makes people lose all inhibition for making MetaTalk posts? It seems like this last week or two has had like a dozen MetaTalks per day, most of them being quite... uh... yeah.

Fine is a fine word. You could of used something else, though fine is fine, even in the same sentence. I love using 'could of' instead of 'could have', because it causes actual physical pain in some people when they read it. It's the power of words. Tell you what though niles had Mal been named Matt, I would've lol'd. At least a little.

The 'New Post' link at the top of the page is very prominent. Perhaps if the text was a sort of 2-tone grey/brown colour and was moved around the page randomly, things would improve.

Also, I don't think Celestial Seasonings puts enough goddamn chicory it any of its teas. Unless it's some single source like peppermint, you'll see chicory in it, and it's all I can taste when it's in one of their teas. I'm convinced I'll soon be able to buy Celestial Seasonings' Chicory-dickory-dock with 100% chickory essence infused chicory.

hot soup girl - This is the earliest I could find (2003):
i ate a bee when i was younger. it flew right into my mouth as i was eating soup.
bees killed my grandfather. he disturbed a nest in the yard, the hive attacked him. he was quite old so when he tripped he couldn't get up. the entire swarm stung him.

Woot namechecked ME exactly 4 weeks ago.
Wendell turned the lights down low and took a moment to enjoy the scene. Two sparkling glasses of Chianti, the mellow tones of Luther Vandross, the loveliest supermodel he’d yet seen in his time at the embassy in Rio, and his trusty RCA Combo DVD Recorder & VCR.
Coincidence? Probably. Unfortunately, it's been almost 24 hours and they haven't sold out of the item...
