Time for YA MeFi Seattle wingding? Early March. I suggest we try the Big Time in the University district, which is well lit, not smoky in the front, and advertises free wifi. A recent Saturday evening scouting trip with jimfl and Danelope revealed an uncrowded, quiet scene. Also, they have good beer.

Assuming I'm not banned for offending caitlinb, I'm in.

Go crazy, agro. I won't even be there this time. People who want to [send|receive] reminders are welcome to use this handy list.

Based on a certain arrangement of tea leaves I predict the scene at the Big Time will be anything but quiet and uncrowded as of March 11 due to the University opening the cages concluding the academic quarter. So earlier's probably better. Saturday, March 5th perhaps?
And if we want to a get good airfare deal to fly caitlinb up here, we'd better pony up quick. < /smirk>>

Big Time is a big grad student hangout, so it would be crowded around end of quarter. I've been going there on and off for several years. I'd be delighted to attend once I know more about the timing.

Wow, off the front page a'ready!
March 5 is a Sattidy. I say earlier is better, as this will allow us to camp.
Also, I'm considering alerting the Monkeys and the Maxxers. Thots?

The monkeys have been well-behaved, I'd say bring 'em on. Maxxers? Is that even really a community?

What are Maxxers? Do any of them look like David Morse?

Maxxers are the denizens of the image-sharing website hosted at themaxx.com (think filepile-ish). some are MeFites. According to one MeFite, there is a Maxxer who looks like David Morse. According to another, the question is open to interpretation.
kindall's query is just, i think. There are signs of community there - they had a maxxout in NYC last week - but it's hard to tell if it's forming up here in the big moldy.

I think I am going to the opera that night. If you meet early enough I might come to grab some food and will bring my opera date along.

The 5th should be good. It's on my calendar. We can hoist one for good ol' Raoul Duke.
