I read it here in the last two years, but can't find it now; Can anyone link me to the post where a woman talks about how she was sent home from school for wearing spaghetti straps and exactly why that was so freaking unfair? Any similar articles about girl's attire and being sent home from school is of course also welcome.

Metafilter finally makes a difference. One of the books we contributed to is licensed as a set of toys in Burger King Kids Meals. Congrats Mothershock! Pretty cool but a little weird.

Tuesday, October 23rd, The Harvey Girls (lots of mefi members) and Steve Golberg (ludwig_van) bring the rock to Kelly's Olympian in Portland along with The Minor Thirds (no mefi connection but I can throw them a free account for a mefi trifecta of rawk). Anyone up for a live music school-night meetup?
