MetaMMO: Leeeeeeeeeeeeeroy!!!!!

Many mefites play MMO/MMORPGs and I thought it might be nice to create a space to share our contacts with one another so we can go on some raids together. Whether it's World of Warcraft (WoW), Elder Scrolls Online (ESO), Black Desert Online (BDO), Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV), Phantasy Star Online 2 (PSO2), Eve Online (EO), Star Wars The Old Republic (SWTOR), Guild Wars 2 (GW2), Runescape, Star Trek Online (STO), whatever MMO you play, let us share our gamer tags/contacts/character names and join in a virtual space of our choosing to get our game on.

“I'll be there with Bells on! Ho ho!”

I'm playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The game was just released and it's available on the Nintendo Switch. It seems like everyone is playing these days. Let's talk about our islands/towns. What fruit did you end up getting? There are five possibilities (not counting coconuts): apples, cherries, peaches, pears, and oranges. If you're up for it, let's share our Nintendo Switch Friend codes so we can visit each other's islands/towns. This is a super chill game and it makes me happy. If you have the opportunity, consider picking it up. As always, be kind to yourself and to others. Happy crafting, farming, shopping, & exploring friendos.

Nintendo Switch: The Enfriendening

I finally broke down and bought a Switch. It looks like the last round of friend code swapping was in 2014 for the WiiU and 3DS / 2DS. So, whaddya say? Let's swap friend codes! [more inside]

Lynchian PC Game

I've been looking in the Metafilter archives for a post about a free downloadable PC game. It had a retro side scroller design that was heavy into atmosphere and dream logic with a kind of a Soviet Russia look to it. It only had a number for a title (about four to six digits long) and the protagonist wasn't human (toaster? sandwich? yeah, that kind of odd). I'm pretty sure this was before I joined Metafilter in 2013 because otherwise I would have it favorited, and all my searches have all come up empty. Anyone remember it?
