What was this piece about angry people?
I recall reading something, it was either part of an FPP or linked in the comments, about the different perceptions of men and women who get angry. I can't find it now. [more inside]

Why aren't we doing this topic well?
Jessamyn: [Folks we're sort of done with the "what crayz thinks about this post" angle. Please email crayz directly if you want more of crayz's opinions, otherwise this is getting to the "Take it to MeTa" point. Put another way, everyone who continues to hyperrespond is also part of the problem here, please consider that.]
So, okay. Let's take it to Meta. As a community, we keep having the same conversation about sexual harassment, unwanted sexual advances and other related issues. Sometimes, with positive results. Sometimes, not. Personal attacks fly back and forth, fueling anger and frustration. Why are so many of us talking past each other? Is there no possibility of finding common ground, or gaining further understanding and empathy from such incidents?
Taking it outside (the thread)
This FPP about women's reproductive rights and the definition of rape was rapidly taken over by a discussion of how old white men who don't fit the stereotype of old white men get their feelings hurt when "old white men" is used as a pejorative.
For those of you who want to continue that conversation, for those of you who want to discuss your frustration over the hijack, please--for the love of god--take it here instead.
What's so funny about . . .
Alright, after having my question deleted from AskMeFi, I'll try in MetaTalk:
While reading and posting in this thread I noticed a lot of people thinking that it's particularly creepy for an older man to hit on a much younger woman. It got me thinking about men who are older and in relationships with younger women and what the general opinion of women is regarding this. So my question, ladies of MeFi; do you generally find it creepy or distasteful when older men date younger women? And if so, why? [more inside]
Women performing as men as the head of the household?
I'm looking for a post on Metafilter, maybe within the last year or two, about these women who would 'convert' to be men for the rest of their lives - not sexually/biologically, just in terms of their function within their villages (and in some cases in terms of gender, though). They were accompanied by photos of old men (or women) wearing pants and sort of hanging out and looking really relaxed/hip/baller. If I remember, this took place in somewhere in Eastern Europe. Thanks!
