I just wanted to publically announce that I didn't mean to offend anyone with my, now non existent post. I won't go into what it was about, as that would defeat the purpose it was deleted.

But as far as insulting homosexuals [obviously] that was not my intent. Obvious, more to me--obviously. I wrongly thought it would lead to a more rounded discussion, not me being shouted down and ultimately forcibly pulled from the stage. I welcome any emails that might allow me to privately explain, should anyone want to.

Disappointing. We were looking forward to an analysis of the horrible but special "angst" of Lt. William Calley, Timothy McVeigh, Paul Tibbets, and the entire U.S. Marine Corps.
