I behaved myself, but there seem to be loopholes

Having just made an FPP, I can still get to the posting page by pasting the "post_good.mefi" link. I can also put in any user id and it still gets me into preview. I didn't dare to hit post though to see if that works, but I thought I'd point it out.

Ha, yes I see. I don't feel the need (or see the point), but I was wondering whether this should be possible. I would imagine that either this either would have been pointed out a while ago, or doesn't work, or would have been 'exploited' by now. If it is either of these ones, then quite possibly this post is redundant. :)

So the deal is, the front page stops people and tells them the error. That stops 99.9% of people from trying to work around it. You found the URL you arrive at still works, and it does, but you can't actually submit anything.

So there's this weird limbo that looks like it will work but it doesn't actually work. I don't bother hiding it from anyone since hardly anyone has ever even found it, and it doesn't really do any harm to keep it visible.
