According to the Nat'l Weather Service the weather should be great for being indoors and warming up with drinks.

Saturday...Mostly sunny. Windy. Highs 30 to 35.
Saturday Night...Partly cloudy. Lows around 15.

Wow Alan, very brave of you to be the one posting a reminder...Is the dog area heated, does anyone know? I haven't been there in years and won't bring the pug if it's too cold.

Didn't we say in the other thread about 7ish to 8ish?

Hey, Mainers, that sounds like a challenge. Now we're gonna have to get tarted up, have a meetup, and take pics.

^And then, you can submit it to the mirror shots site.^

Some people seemed to be whining about the 7ish to 8ish timeframe, so I wasn't sure if that was a go.

See you all with mittens on!

Hey, there are twenty-five whole MeFites within 35 miles of me. Tuh-wenty-five. Count 'em! And some of them have even posted in the last five years! So, you know.

Wow, that is late, especially for a bar on a Saturday. Didn't actually want to talk, didja?

I shall be at a friend's recital. Pet a pooch for me.

Hell's bells. I have, as they say, a subsequent engagement. Maybe I'll figure out that two place/one time thing. If not, see you next time.

The Metachatters will be at another meetup at 5, so we would be coming along probably around 7. If folks want to start earlier at the Lab, we'll catch up with you later.

So do we have a vanguard? Can we get a head count and estimated ETA for the Earlier Than Seven crew?

i'm always up for some early drinkin'...

cmonkey and I will probably be there a little earlier than seven, cortex. At least that was our intention.

estimated ETA: 'a little earlier.' God. Um, how about six. Something like that.
posted by rebirtha at 11:47 AM on February 17, 2006

/me will likely get there around 6 or 6:30 or so.

And you will know me by the trail of my dead.

FYI: the dog area is NOT heated. They might put up some of those heater tree things, but I'm not sure.

Ok well then I won't be bringing Reba, she's not into the whole being cold thing. Maybe next time...

What, there aren't any sweaters that fit her?

I figure 6:30 - 7:00 depending on how long the metachat dinner in Beavertron runs.
