Anyone out there going to be in New Orleans for Mardi Gras this year?

This will be my 7th year in a row to be in the Big Easy for Mardi Gras, and it should be an interesting year. Any other Mefites heading south?

P.S. I'll be there from Feb 23-26.

I may be, but it'll probably be part of my j-school spring break, so I'm not sure how much socializing time I'll have.

I'm finding it very strange down here. Most friends who were once HUGE Mardi Gras fans are refusing to go down to New Orleans this year. Maybe it's denial. I don't know.
