Yeah, I think that'll be good. Where is there a notification about it on MeFi?

Your patience and willingness to make this thing work right never cease to amaze me. Thanks for all the hard work, Matt.

Bless you. Now we'll only have somewhere over 12000 posts per day... ;-)

Anyone care to place a bet as to how long it'll be until some newbie registers twice in order to post twice in a row?

Twenty minutes, if they could. I think new sign up is off for the moment.

even if they could, aaron, it wouldn't work because I believe it takes a day before you can post anyway. Or am I wrong?

It takes a week, plus some commenting. I'm considering lengthening the time to 2-4 weeks.

I don't think people will route around this because I'm going to spruce up the error page next, so that if they have posted in 24 hrs, they can submit their post to be reviewed by me, without having to email me.

So if FoxNews and Ananova have articles on Rush Limbaugh going deaf, does this mean I have to put both of them in the same post?

But what about freedom of speech? Don't I have an inherent, God-given right to post 26 links to the Onion a day? Matt is such a Nazi.

Damn liberal bleeding heart scum! You're taking away my inalienable right to pee in the pool!

I'll have to go back to being weird on the Warren Sapp big99.com message boards.

(there's probably some irony in my smart ass comment being posted twice... but maybe not)

I wish we could nominate comments - Stupidest comment of the day, Funniest Comment of the day. This comment from Gary just cracked me up! Funniest thing I read all day.

Thanks, Chief; I hate the fact we put you out to solve this mess, and I absolutely despise we've put you in a place where you need to intervene. But, as always, you've come through.
