Feed for most favorited posts in past 24 hours? July 13, 2006 4:58 PM   Subscribe

While the pony rain lasts, can we get a feed for the "Most favorited posts in the past 24 hours" page?

I know it's "in the past 24 hours", but it would be great for catching up after one has been, you know, getting on with life.

I still think it'd be nice to see some sort of "recently favorited" list in addition to "most favorited," too. "Favorite posts from [so-and-so]'s contacts" is already laid out by date, recent favorites at the top, so it's easy (and fun) to see what's been newly favorited since the last time you checked. (Previously requested.)

I know it looks unhygenic, edgewise, but if you just tilt your head back and stick out your tongue, it's actually....

Well, you're right. It actually is kind of gross.

And by edgewise I did mean edgeways. Damn spell check.

As I've suggested before a few times, a dropdown with various time frames (today/this week/this month/forever) would be the optimum solution on that page (and others dealing with faves (fantastics views are or should maybe be deprecated, given the new bookmarking features)) I think, depending on how expensive the database queries would be. Probably static pages for those views generated daily would be better. The RSS files could be refreshed at the same time.

pony rain sounds like something that is banned in most places, but still legal in Washington state.

The recent favorites page is totally borked, and yeah, I need to rewrite it, and do a RSS feed with a daily update or something, and doing it over diff time periods would also be useful.

On behalf of the Dutch people, thanks for continuating our lasting Pony Rain. Let us never have to employ pony umbrellas.
