Deleted comments included in comment count December 6, 2006 6:22 AM Subscribe
Hello. This is not really hurting my life or anything, but it seems that the list of posts on the "My Favorites" tab on the front page includes deleted comments in its comment count for each post. Screenshot here.
It's a screenshot of what I see under the "my favorites" tab on the front page. I should have cropped it better, I guess.

Actually, the same thing happens in the "popular favorites" tab - if you scroll down in that you'll see the James Kim thread listed with 98 comments.

On a related subject, why am I not getting favorited more? I presume some sort of programming error is responsible.

Actually AZ, I've embedded a complicated worm into the MeFi servers whereby 40% of the favorites your witticisms generate, go to me. I then take those favorites and dole them out to different charities, keeping only 2 or 3 percent for myself.
Your doing good works, man. Even if you don't know it.
