That was posted after a heated discussion in which someone pointed out that the deluge of constant negative Iraq stories was not a function of agenda or slant, but a function of the fact that there is never any seriously reported good news. So that post was an example post. Using that out of context is a real cheap way for you to try to smear me with the same brush, despite the fact that I haven't pursued some repetitive agenda on the front page.

No it wasn't out of revenge. There was an on-going discussion that suggested nothing "good" is every seriously reported. It was an example of something, written by a detractor, that was reported. I'm certain that everyone can grasp that.
I know you are one of the one's that hate me, which is fine. So feel free to act shocked at my comment and find it indefensible. But I've been on my best behavior for quite some time. I don't respond to any of the many, many attempts to start a flame war or insult me. I have repeatedly asked through e-mails copied to Matt and Jessamyn for Alex Reynolds to stop stalking me around this site and favoriting every comment that insulted or argued with me.
There was no reason for y2karl to bring up his grudge with me here. It was petty of him to do so. I stand by my comment.

I've let it go. See the last 6 months at least of my participation here. In every single thread participate in, I ignore countless trolls, insults, attempts to get me in an argument, and various other noise from the same people over and over.
The tide of assholery from these people does not recede. So forgive me for not ignoring the 10,000th time and perhaps address your advice to the people engaged in the behavior. I'm sorry I don't have the patience today that I have been exhibiting. That's my bad. But my apologies for my inability to bite my tongue are not apologies for what I said. y2karl is in the wrong here, and that asshole Alex Reynolds is in the wrong the vast majority of the time as he stalks me around this site. Do you all understand the abject depravity in such behavior? It's amazing the level of pettiness it takes to go around and favorite every comment that is negative about a person. In one thread alone, he favorites 20 comments wherein people argued and/or insulted me. So I stand by my comments, even while I apologize for not having the temperament of Buddha to ignore every insult lodge at me. If the admins won't do anything and no one else will, you'll have to excuse momentary lapses in ability to ignore the insults.
