In other words, while MetaTalk threads like this are fun, the best thing to do about the way you feel when a self-linker shits on MeFi is to flag it. Hankies work, and keep the tears and runny nose in check to boot.

Man. Looks like Sattler has never made a post that didn't have a self-link or something painfully close (not entirely clear on the sneakmove connection, aside from apparent coziness).

Not that it matters now but I looked at sneakmove through the wayback machine and discovered that he did used to write there. He originally went by pete but changed his name to "fake name" sometime later. Look at the top post here then look at it here. Same guy, different name.

Fucko is indeed a great word. I recall it being used to good effect in Goodfellas. I think it's how one of the cops addressed Henry Hill when he got busted, toward the end of the movie. And inasmuch as cortex is a mod, and the mods are kinda like the cops around here*, I'd say it's an especially appropriate usage.
*but don't take offense, cortex. I think you're a good cop.
